In this piece, I reimagine the Mona Lisa through the bold visual language of Y2K culture. Her timeless pose remains, but the leather clothing, sunglasses, silver jewellery, and chrome frame give her a new identity built around confidence, luxury, and independence. The chain reaching toward the viewer symbolises her breaking out of the past and taking control of how she is seen in the modern world.
