Y2k Hermes the eternal messanger
DESCRIPTION
This artwork portrays Hermes, the messenger god, travelling through a futuristic network of roads and marketplaces. His winged helmet, sandals, and staff represent speed, communication, trade, and movement between worlds.
ARTIST NOTES
I reimagined Hermes as the guardian of a connected civilisation. The endless roads represent communication and progress, while the travellers and tortoise reflect the different speeds at which every journey unfolds.
