Y2k Zeus — Above the Mortal World
DESCRIPTION
This artwork portrays Zeus seated within a storm above a modern city. Holding a small lightning bolt as three people watch from below, he represents divine power, judgment, and the enduring presence of ancient mythology in the modern world.
ARTIST NOTES
I reimagined Zeus watching over present-day civilisation from the clouds. The contrast between his enormous form and the people below explores humanity’s relationship with power, nature, and forces beyond its control.
